The colors for this special piece were personally selected by Leslie with two natural elements in mind - water & earth. The blue hues reflect the water element as well as Leslie’s love for the color blue. The green and yellow ochre colors were added as secondary colors and represent the element earth.

Color theorists tell us that one who has a genuine love for blue, indicates a sensitiveness to others and to oneself, as well as a firm hold on passions and enthusiasms. It’s also the color of deliberation and introspection, conservatism, and an acceptance of obligations. Green is the color of the spring and summer of life. Sunlight, cheerfulness and happiness are associated with yellow. It seems that the colors selected for “Natural Elements” - are indeed a natural choice of colors to represent Leslie’s alliance to preservation.
