The title “Gifts of Grace” was decided long before the words were scribed on the canvas. I knew the painting itself was finished yet the title seemed to nudge me time and again as if it were asking for a self-inquiry of what exactly are - gifts of Grace. As I pondered and searched within for words that represented gifts of grace, they emerged one by one.

The words resonate (for me) personal values that become one with the traveler, as one evolves and travels on this highway of life. Continually learning, growing, accepting personal responsibility, random acts of kindness, genuine listening, humility, compassion and forgiveness . . . are all sign posts (or rather states of Grace) along the way of living (or being) one’s full potential. After scribing the last letter of the last word on the canvas, I knew immediately that the title was now laid to rest.
